In The Steps of C. S. Lewis Tour Posted 1.27.2015

I want to invite you to join us for an unforgettable trip into the world and life of one of the most influential Christian writers of the 20th century--C. S. Lewis.  We will leave Los Angeles on Sept. 2, 2015 and visit London, Oxford and Cambridge seeing such sights as Magdalen College-Oxford, Addison's Walk, The Eagle and Child pub, the Kilns which was Lewis's home near Oxford, Bodleian Library, Holy Trinity Church, the Ashmolean Museum, Magdalene College-Cambridge and Christ Church.  The tour will include a full day in London with tours of several sights in that great city available.

Come enjoy punting on the River Cam in Cambridge, taking meals at pubs and restaurants frequented by Lewis and his Inklings colleagues, visiting Cambridge American Cemetery honoring WW II American pilots who participated in the Battle of Britain, taking in an Evensong service and Holy Trinity Church with their magnificent boys' choir and much more.

The tour leaders will be Dr. Stanley Mattson, President of the C. S. Lewis Foundation in Redlands, CA and a C. S. Lewis scholar and Dr. Ken Garland, former Professor of Christian Education at Talbot Theological Seminary, current Associate Pastor of Peninsula Community Church and C. S. Lewis enthusiast.  You won't ever get another chance to view the world of C. S. Lewis like this.  The photo in the blog is Magdalen College, Oxford where Lewis was a professor for twenty-nine years.
